ABOUT JANELLE MONTGOMERY, CPA

As young as three years old, I remember being intrigued by the exchange of money. My dream job as a little girl was to be a cashier. Realizing cashiers didn’t get to keep the money (or make much money), my dream shifted to a career that would still allow me to deal with money and numbers, CPA and Accounting.

Coach Janelle's Background:

I begin working a 9-5 and was making a good salary for the entry-level position. I also worked for the state, but realized sitting behind a desk wasn’t feeding my passion, which I learned was teaching. Following that passion, I took a position teaching accounting full-time as a professor at the university level and I loved it. Teaching was “feeding my passion tank, but it wasn’t feeding my salary tank.” I also had a business that was failing and my household resources were shrinking during that time. But I said, “thank God for that” because I could have gotten comfortable with where I was financially.

HOW COACH JANELLE CPA WAS BORN

I started looking for different income avenues and started coaching business, but people started asking about my CPA work. I was recognized that I was great at providing value and cutting costs for companies and business owners but wasn’t doing that for myself. Once I started doing it, Coach Janelle CPA was born.
